A vibrant and rapidly growing hospitality chain is looking for an Assistant Bar Manager to support the Bar Manager in the daily operations. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bar Manager in daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring optimal stock levels
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing concerns
- Ensure all staff deliver high-quality service and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
- Monitor food and drink presentations to ensure quality and consistency
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations in both bar and kitchen areas
- Assist in managing the bar’s budget, tracking sales, and minimising waste
Who/What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a bar and food environment
- Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, food safety, and handling
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Proficient in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems
