Business Development Executive – Bridgend

We are currently seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Executive to help drive sales growth, nurture client relationships, and support the external sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively reach out to both prospective and existing clients to promote BEI Lighting’s products and services.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring timely and accurate communication about our offerings.
• Efficiently process quotes, proposals, and sales orders.
• Follow up on leads and assist with ongoing client projects.

Market Research & Lead Generation

• Conduct research to identify new business opportunities within the target market.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for the external sales team as needed.

Administrative & Reporting Duties

• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline progress in our CRM system.
• Prepare and analyse sales reports to assist with decision-making and strategy development.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and product presentations.

Who/what we are looking for:

• Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a similar role (Electrical Supply & Distribution industry would be a bonus)
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, customer-focused mindset with excellent attention to detail.
