Business Development Manager – Up to €100,000/double OTE – Gilching, Germany– Hybrid (3-4 days office)

CCAAS/UCAAS/SAAS/Contact Centre experience required

As our global cloud communications client expands, they are looking for a strong sales professional to join their very successful sales team in Den Haag.

This role will be ideal for someone with a wealth of industry experience and a black book of trusted connections so they can hit the ground running.

Key responsibilities:

Account planning

  • Achieve revenue & margin targets from new customers
  • Create and maintain documented account development plans.
  • Work with marketing or other internal departments to proactively identify and target customers.
  • Build sales approaches for specific customer accounts.
  • Develop and maintain an adequate pipeline of opportunities.
  • Provide accurate forecasting of opportunities
  • Maintain a broad understanding of key products and technology
  • Work with key partners and customers to understand their industry, value drivers and business processes.
  • Work closely with presales, delivery, support and any bid-related teams to effectively create, sell and deliver new business wins.

Customer relationships & satisfaction

  • Regularly meet and build effective relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Drive the promotion and sale of additional services to or through the customer.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of customer objectives and key personnel.
  • Set customer expectations during sales, delivery and throughout the contract.
  • Coordinate internal teams to deliver to customer expectations.
  • Escalate on behalf of the customer as required.

Who/what are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject.
  • Substantial experience in developing and maintaining a sales pipeline, specifically within the Saas or CCaaS industry.
  • Previous experience working with long-term sales cycles of 6-18 months.
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate others.
  • Experience using a CRM or similar tool.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective influencing and negotiating.
  • Excellent communication skills and the proven ability to form strong client relationships.
  • Fluent or Native level German language.
